Hello,
I was born on June 23, 1980, in Erzurum. After completing my primary and secondary education in Bursa, I came to Istanbul to continue my studies. I graduated from Istanbul University’s Faculty of Medicine, also known as Çapa Faculty of Medicine, and began my career as a medical doctor. Starting from my early years as a student, I had a strong desire to specialize in orthopedics and traumatology. I pursued this specialization at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine and became an orthopedic specialist.
During my years as an assistant, I aimed to further develop my career in the field of spine surgery, musculoskeletal tumors, and cancers. I focused on enhancing my professional training in this direction. I continued my academic career for a while at the Faculty of Medicine at Akdeniz University, including the period of becoming an associate professor. Later, I transitioned to the private sector and continued my profession as a physician in my own private clinic.
Since academic work has always been a significant part of my life, I actively participated as both a participant and an educator in numerous national and international conferences and courses. I also served as the director of a graduate institute for a period at Kocaeli Health and Technology University. Currently, I am a professor at the same university, where I continue to teach undergraduate and graduate courses.
As a physician who dedicates constant effort to spinal health and deformities, I’ve always been engaged in various sports. I believe in a philosophy of positive thinking and an active lifestyle for good health. I continue to be involved in multiple sports and aim to reintegrate my patients into sports and daily activities as quickly as possible. With this approach, I strive to maintain my profession as a doctor who advocates for sports as a means of promoting health and facilitating a swift return to daily life activities for my patients.
